We are looking for a Mechanical & Electrical Design Engineer for a global company in Gothenburg.

Start is in Sep 2026, 24-months limited contract to begin with, possibility of extension after that.

About the Role

As a Design Engineer at Aurobay, you will play a pivotal role in shaping technological advancements and ensuring our high-quality standards. This position involves working at the heart of design and engineering, blending mechanical and electrical expertise with strong leadership skills. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to bring innovative ideas to life.

What You’ll Do

In this exciting role, you will:

- Develop creative and efficient solutions with cross-functional teams, meeting design specifications and company standards within defined timelines and budgets.

- Engineer systems and/or components, focusing on detail design, electrical interfaces, and integrations within the surrounding environment.

- Define requirements for interconnected systems/components to ensure optimal design functionality.

- Verify solutions, recommend design adjustments, and prioritize factors such as technology, cost-efficiency, quality, production feasibility, serviceability, environmental impact, market needs, and rationalization.

- Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to address and solve cross-functional needs.

- Contribute to building expertise by involving yourself in technology strategies, analysis, and verification processes.

- Support and execute Aurobay template generation procedures while driving initiatives to meet geometry assurance and fulfillment of technical requirements.

Skill requirements

About You

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

- Educational Background: M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering, or relevant experience in the field.

- Technical Expertise: At least 5 years of experience in Catia Design, with a proven focus on ECUs and/or Inverters.

- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential (spoken and written). Swedish language skills are also preferred for effective collaboration.

- Collaborative Skills: Strong communication and teamwork abilities, paired with a global mindset.

- Passion for Innovation: A drive for creating excellence, with a keen interest in sustainable technology and challenging the status quo.

This is a full-time consultant position in Gothenburg through Incluso. Start is in in Sep 2026, 24 months limited contract to begin with. This role is 100% onsite in Gothenburg.
