We are looking for a Senior Service Desk Specialist for a full-time position in the Specialised IT Services Team.

The position is based in Stockholm where you will be working as part of the team supporting Nordea Asset Management, and as such you will be working fully on-site at the Stockholm HQ - Smålandsgatan 17. You will one out of two employees supporting out of Stockholm, but of course belong into the full team of Specialised IT services.

About our team

Meet the Specialised IT Services Team. We are a team of 11 specialist IT professionals delivering high-quality end-user IT support for Nordea Asset Management and Nordea Markets. Our role is to deliver first- and second-level IT support and participate in tasks and projects within our support areas and Group Technology. We operate in a highly sensitive, fast-paced banking environment, where proactive support, ownership, clear communication, and strong service quality is essential.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide first- and second-level support by troubleshooting and resolving a wide range of IT incidents across hardware and software, ensuring timely and effective support for end users.
  • Log, prioritize, track and document incidents in accordance with established incident management procedures, taking ownership to ensure stable and uninterrupted business operations.
  • Contribute to smaller IT tasks and larger projects, supporting professional implementation initiatives (Examples being Windows Hello for Business, Entra Joined device rollouts, and testing and deployment of new VPN solutions).

Who you are

This is the right role for you if you:

  • Have strong attention to detail and understand the impact IT incidents can have on end users in a banking and trading environment.
  • Enjoy working with people and can communicate clearly with traders, business users, internal technology teams and external vendors.
  • Take ownership, follow up proactively and remain calm when supporting time-critical incidents.
  • Have a structured approach to incident handling, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
  • Are curious and willing to build new competences that improve the quality and speed of support.

Your background and skills include:

  • Experience from a similar IT support position, preferably within a financial, trading or other business-critical environment.
  • Experience with ITIL-based incident management and one or more ITSM systems, preferably including structured ticket logging, prioritization and escalation.
  • Proficiency in English and Danish is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, operating systems, workplace applications, hardware, laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Know a bit of PowerShell.
  • Basic knowledge on Network, VDI’s and Databases.
