About the position

We at Perido are now looking for a Finance Specialist for our client. The position is based in Stockholm.

Your daily tasks:

• Accounting & Financial Operations: Process invoices, payments, employee expenses, bank transactions, and daily accounting activities in line with European requirements.
• AP & AR Management: Support supplier and customer accounts, reconcile balances, monitor schedules, and handle payment follow-ups.
• Vehicle & Dealership Finance: Maintain accurate financial records for vehicle purchases, sales, inventory movements, trade-ins, deposits, and commissions.
• Reporting & Reconciliations: Prepare financial reports, perform bank and ledger reconciliations, and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• European Market Compliance: Manage VAT, documentation, and compliance requirements for international European market transactions.
• Cross-Border Settlements: Assist with multi-currency transactions, foreign supplier/customer settlements, and international documentation.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as the primary finance contact for operations, sales, procurement, and external partners to ensure smooth execution.
• Process Improvement & Closing: Support month-end close processes, maintain clean accounting records, and optimize operational finance workflows.

Driven by a pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset, you comfortably navigate complex financial data and multi-market transactions with ease. You possess natural diplomatic skills and an adaptable nature, allowing you to build strong working relationships across diverse operational teams. Calm under pressure and proactive by nature, you take initiative to smooth out process bottlenecks and consistently meet critical financial deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• 1-2 years of proven experience in general accounting, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations
• Practical knowledge of European VAT regulations, invoicing standards, and foreign-currency transactions
• Strong proficiency in modern ERP/accounting systems and Excel
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken

Contract type and hours

Full-time consulting assignment for 12 months. Estimated start 2026-10-01.
