Join our Flight Operations team as a UAS Flight Manager and take a key role in leading and developing our growing flight organization. You will lead our flight operations, develop our flight crews and ways of working, and play an important part in shaping the future of unmanned aviation. We are looking for an experienced aviation or UAS professional who is ready to take the next step in their career and make a real impact in a dynamic and growing organization.UAS Flight Manager with us:As UAS Flight Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the safety and efficiency of our UAS flight operations. You will work closely with Remote Pilots, Flight Technicians, Engineering, Maintenance, Project Management, customers, and aviation authorities to ensure that our operations are planned and executed to the highest standards.
The role is both operational and strategic. You will be close to the daily flight operations while also developing our people, processes, and ways of working as our UAS operations continue to grow. You will report to the Head of Flight Operations.
As UAS Flight Manager, you will:
Lead and coordinate daily UAS flight operations, including planning, scheduling, execution, and post-flight activities, ensuring operations are conducted safely and in accordance with applicable regulations, authorizations, and company procedures.
Lead and develop our flight crews, including Remote Pilots, Flight Technicians, and Flight Test Engineers, with responsibility for training, proficiency, and competence management.
Drive safety and operational risk management, including safety reviews, risk assessments, audits, and continuous development of our Safety Management System (SMS).
Ensure operational readiness and compliance by working closely with Maintenance and reviewing flight-related procedures, documentation, records, and operational approvals.
Act as a key point of contact for operation sites, aviation authorities, customers, and internal stakeholders, supporting customer deliveries, demonstrations, new operational concepts, and other flight activities.
Drive continuous improvement across Flight Operations, identifying opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, processes, and operational performance.
Safety is at the heart of everything we do. As UAS Flight Manager, you will have the authority to suspend or cancel operations when safety or regulatory compliance is in question and to require additional training or proficiency measures when needed.
The workplace is dynamic, and the role may include both domestic and international travel depending on operational and organizational needs.

We believe you have at least five years of experience in flight operations management, aviation operations, or a comparable operational leadership role, with experience in UAS operations and/or commercial or military aviation. You have relevant education or professional training within aviation, aerospace, UAS, or military aviation, as well as a relevant UAS pilot license, certificate, or equivalent qualification. You have strong knowledge of aviation regulations and UAS operating requirements, combined with experience in operational risk management, safety processes, and a formal Safety Management System (SMS). You are experienced in leading, mentoring, and developing operational personnel and have a good understanding of flight planning, operational procedures, and aviation documentation. Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written, are essential.
Experience from multiple UAS platforms, complex operational authorizations, international operations, or military aviation is considered an advantage.
A B driver´s license is required.
