SW Test Lead

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced SW Test Leader who wants to take a leading role in verification and validation of software for aeronautical systems.

You will be responsible for leading the testing and verification work for software used in civil aviation. Further more, you will be involved in building a local team to work on set verification goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate software testing
• Ensure that verification and validation activities are carried out in accordance with project and certification requirements
• Operate and develop automated test solutions and test environments
• Plan, prioritize and follow up on test activities together with test engineers and development teams
• Review requirement specifications to ensure testability and complete test coverage
• Analyze test results, manage deviations and support root cause analyses
• Report status, risks and quality indicators to project management and stakeholders
• Participate in internal and external audits as well as certification activities

Experience and Competence

• Several years of experience in software testing, verification or quality work
• Experience in leading teams or coordinating test activities in complex development projects
• Good understanding of software development processes and testing methodology
• Experience with test automation and modern testing tools
• Ability to communicate clearly and create engagement in cross-functional teams
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing

It's an advantage if you have:

• Aerospace, defense or other safety-critical industry experiences
• Certification standards such as DO-178C, ARP4754A or similar
• Embedded systems, real-time systems and avionics experience
• Requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS
• ISTQB certification or equivalent.
