Job description:

Transport is at the core of modern society. Imagine using your expertise to shape sustainable transport and infrastructure solutions for the future. If you seek to make a difference on a global scale, working with next-gen technologies and the sharpest collaborative teams, then we could be a perfect match.

What you will do

As a Supply Partner Development/Lean Engineer you will contribute to building a resilient global supply network by strengthening our supply partners’ manufacturing performance and capacity. You will evaluate current capabilities on site, identify gaps and improvement opportunities, and ensure clear roadmaps are in place to close them.

As a continuous improvement and risk reduction driver, you will follow up implementation and outcomes, helping supply partners produce the right volumes efficiently to meet demand. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as buyers and supplier quality engineers and work with supply partner leaders and improvement teams to influence change through facts, structure, and strong communication.

Your future team

You will join Supply Partner Development, a department of three teams covering the full truck. We are a diverse team with different backgrounds, nationalities, ages, and experiences, working together in a collaborative and performance-focused culture.

Who are you?

In this role, you will bring solid manufacturing or supplier development experience, with hands-on practice applying Lean principles and tools on the shop floor. You are comfortable running value stream mapping activities, collecting cycle time data, identifying waste, and analyzing OEE to turn findings into clear priorities and measurable business impact. You build trust while challenging in a constructive way, and you can train and coach others in improvement methods. You enjoy working with people across functions and levels and you communicate with clarity.

To thrive you also:

-    Enjoy both using a helicopter perspective and having a holistic approach, while at the same time paying attention to details. -    You like to travel, see the world and meet our suppliers in their arena. -    You plan and prioritize independently when you manage several parallel activities.

We believe that you have an university degree in manufacturing/industrial engineering and you are fluent in English.

-    Sometimes you travel up to 50% of your time and it might be on short notice.
