Nova Industri AB is a leading service company specializing in industrial production and mechanical engineering, operating in Boden and Kalix. With over 20 years of experience, we offer tailored solutions in turning, milling, welding, and steel frame construction. Our strong regional presence enables us to deliver high-quality services primarily to industrial companies across Norrbotten.
As the Production Manager at Nova Industri, you will have the opportunity to create and realize a shared vision together with your team. You will report directly to the General Manager of Nova Industri. You will work closely with colleagues from the mother company in Germany when it comes to working within the SMS group standards and norms. Proficiency in both Swedish and English is an essential requirement for this role. You are results-oriented and thrive on seeing progress and development within your team.
Responsibilities:
· Production Leadership & Customer-Focused Deliveries: Ensure high-quality deliveries through efficient production management and strong customer focus.
· Financial Responsibility & Cost Control: Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and ensuring profitability.
· Innovation & Operational Efficiency: Promote innovation and continuous operational efficiency in collaboration with internal stakeholders, including colleagues in Germany.
· Regulatory & ISO Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards, including maintaining ISO certifications.
· Safety, Quality & Continuous Improvement: Implement and maintain robust processes for safety, quality, and continuous improvement (including preventive actions to avoid defects).
Personal Attributes:
You are a workshop-minded professional with a Machinist background and a genuine interest in industrial production and manufacturing operations. You bring practical knowledge from the shop floor, including familiarity with CNC programming, and you enjoy working in an environment where quality, safety, and reliability are non-negotiable. With at least 5 years of relevant experience, you have built a strong technical foundation across assembly and welding, while staying fully aligned with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) requirements and robust quality routines.
Beyond the technical side, you also understand how production performance is measured and improved, supported by experience with workshop controlling and cost center reporting. You have prior leadership experience from production, manufacturing, or industrial services, and you are confident in leading, motivating, and developing employees to reach shared goals. Finally, you have a continuous improvement mindset and experience implementing new processes that strengthen efficiency and operational results.
