Do you want to combine financial leadership with commercial impact and help shape the future of the Kappahl brand?

We are looking for a Business & Finance Controller who can translate insights into action and strategy into results. Join our head office in Mölndal and play a pivotal role in driving profitable and sustainable growth.

We offer you

As Business & Finance Controller, you will play a key role in driving the financial performance and long-term success of the Kappahl brand. With end-to-end ownership of the brand P&L, you will turn strategic and commercial ambitions into sustainable growth and measurable business results.

This is a unique opportunity to influence the direction of one of the Nordic region’s leading fashion brands. Through predictive analysis, forecasting and scenario planning, you will provide insights that shape key business decisions, guide investments and support future growth. Beyond reporting performance, you challenge assumptions, uncover new perspectives and bring forward-looking insights that help balance short-term results with long-term brand value.

Working closely with senior stakeholders across the organization, you will gain broad exposure to both strategic and operational aspects of the business and play a key role in driving profitable growth. As part of the Kappahl Brand Management team, you will collaborate across the Kappahl Group while leading a team and owning the business planning process.

The position is a full-time permanent role based at our new head office in the heart of Mölndal.

You apply easily by answering a few questions and attaching your CV (please refrain from sending us your personal letter). Selection is ongoing, so we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible.

We believe you have a relevant university degree in Business, Economics, Finance or within an equivalent field. You have proven experience of P&L ownership, forecasting and performance management in a complex, cross-functional organisation, together with the ability to translate strategy into financial outcomes and measurable business impact.

You have a deep understanding of the drivers behind revenue, margin, cost structures and return on investment. A strong analytical mindset combined with commercial acumen enables you to turn data into insights and drive informed business decisions.

As a person, you are business-driven, curious and analytical, with the ability to see both the bigger picture and the critical details. You make sound decisions, communicate convincingly and take responsibility for achieving results.

You recognize yourself in our values – Inclusive, Courageous and Joyful!

Founded in 1953 in Gothenburg, Sweden, the Kappahl Group is a leading fashion chain in the Nordics, with around 350 Kappahl and Newbie stores in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Poland, Iceland and the UK, and online in more than 20 markets throughout Europe and Asia.

We want to make a difference in the fashion world and to lead the way by always keeping our promises: taking care of the world around us and minimizing the environmental impact for each garment. And at the same time fulfil our employee promise "We promise you the right to always be yourself - a place to belong”. The Kappahl team consists of some 4,000 colleagues in eight countries, all with different backgrounds, ages, skills and styles. Our common motivation is to create a responsible world of fashion and offer fashion to a wide variety of people and lifestyles. A responsible fashion that feels right, for the bearer and for the world we live in. Today, more than 99% of the products are made of certified and/or licensed materials. Our goal is 100% by end of 2026 and Kappahl Group’s overall climate goal is to halve the value chain's climate emissions by 2030. More information at www.kappahl.com.
