You will help shape end-to-end payment offerings in a complex financial services environment where solutions need to work across currencies, jurisdictions, rulebooks, and schemas. The role covers the full payment flow, from how an offering is defined in the channel layer, through services and APIs, to backend processing, clearing, and reporting.

You will work closely with architects, tech leads, and business stakeholders to turn needs into clear solution designs and architectural direction. This role suits you if you enjoy combining strategic architecture with hands-on solution work and want to influence payment capabilities across a broad technical landscape.

• You will drive end-to-end solution architecture for payment offerings across channels, service layers, APIs, backend processing, and clearing.
• You will facilitate and align architectural deliverables such as target architectures, transition architectures, architectural roadmaps, architectural runways, and end-to-end flows.
• You will work with architects and tech leads responsible for different components to create coherent solutions across the full payment landscape.
• You will contribute at detailed solution design level together with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Channel Owners, and development teams.
• You will support and influence work related to payment channels, payment processing platforms, and payment reporting.
• You will present solution designs and architectural decisions in a way that is clear for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• You will help move work forward in a large organization where priorities can shift and many stakeholders need to be aligned.

• Strong and demonstrable experience architecting solutions for a wide range of payment offerings across currencies, jurisdictions, rulebooks, and schemas.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end payment flows, from frontend offering definition through services and API layers to backend processing and clearing.
• Proven ability to define, facilitate, and drive architectural deliverables such as target architectures, transition architectures, roadmaps, architectural runways, and end-to-end flows.
• Experience working at both strategic and detailed solution design level together with business and technology stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, or OpenShift, as well as DevOps.
• Experience managing diverse stakeholders in large organizations and navigating ambiguity.
• Experience working in both traditional waterfall project environments and Scaled Agile environments.
• Fluent English and good knowledge of Swedish.

• Ideally, you have 10+ years’ experience in payments or cash management within Investment Banking.
• Experience stepping in across related topics within Payment Channels, Payments Processing Platform, and Payments Reporting.
