Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer / Platform Engineer

What You Will Work On

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data platforms with a strong focus on Databricks
• Develop and maintain robust ETL/data pipelines for large-scale operational data
• Improve Databricks platform architecture, setup, and capabilities
• Implement data governance models, catalogues, and metadata management
• Improve data quality, discoverability, security, and compliance
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for Databricks and cloud infrastructure
• Build automated, reliable, and reproducible platform environments
• Design solutions for complex data and platform challenges
• Collaborate with developers, Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and business stakeholders
• Translate business and technical requirements into production-ready data products
• Support continuous platform development, operations, and maintenance

What You Bring

• Several years of senior Data Engineering or Platform Engineering experience
• Strong hands-on Databricks and Apache Spark experience
• Strong experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably AWS
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
• Experience designing and developing ETL/data pipelines
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code for Databricks and cloud services
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata, and data discoverability
• Experience designing scalable, secure, and reliable data platforms
• Proven production experience with Databricks
• Experience with medium- to large-scale data platforms
• Ability to independently drive technical improvements
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
• AWS or Databricks certification is an advantage
